Well, I got the h/g's, but have read saying they suck. But then others saying they are ok, lol.

With my track record I want to use the best, lol.

Sorry i cant help but id deffinatley say go with what looks the prettiest :)

Good luck

What power level are you aiming for? Stock HG is plenty for at least 500bhp :)

Its running 400bhp.

But I was told it was a 1.2mm h/g

What size is the OEM?

Also, I need 88mm as I have forged Je 87.5mm pistons. Do the OEM ones have different bore sizes?

Stock HG bore is 88mm

i bought the cometic head gasket for my new rebuilt and never heard bad things about it on TTnet...

Feel free to point me in the direction of bad things read mate.

What I can tell you is this:-

These are now used by many of the Skyline tuners in the UK

They are probably THE most common used gasket on the SXOC forum which covers 3 times as many members as here.

I searched TT.net last nite and never found a negative word about em

Kyle puckett the most renowned Z engine builder pretty much anywhere in the world outside of Japan, uses Cometic gaskets

They are so popular now in the UK, a new UK distributor has been appointed for the demand

Built primarily for the US engine market of drag racing.

Finally from my own view and experience, currently 19 Zeds have Cometics supplied by me ;)

Hope all that helps.

cheers

smithy

P.S, Stock thickness is 1mm, hence yours being 1.2mm, 98% of cometics sold are 1.2mm

i ran my CA18 in the 200sx with a 1.6mm commetic aroud 340bhp, driving like a twat and a lot of laps on the track with no worries mate
