Anyone got any photos of these as I don't have one and have just fitted an apexi cone filter and was thinking it would be easy enough to make.

Thanks in advance

Not a splash guard but i made a drip guard as water can drip between the nose panel and bumper , soaking the filter through HTH

okay so basically something similarto boldy for the top and bottom

One option is to keep the bottom half of the original airbox in place. It still leaves room to fit an Apexi kit under the nose and acts as an excellent splash gaurd, and has air ducts from the inner wing built in.

that was the original plan but I found that there was an HKS Mushroom fitted by the previous owner and the had ditched the air box.

How much do the air boxes go for?

LOL free I bet, I have one in the shed!

For what it's worth, unless you have a vented nose panel you are more likely to get water splashing up onto the filter from below than above so my first priority would be to build a lower splash guard (unless you have the lower half of the stock box in place as suggest by Legrath).

HTH
