There would be enough interest for the admins to make a car cleaning forum for the summer? where you could discuss products and techniques and post pics etc ?

IMO car wash £4 a go

nah no interest at all, if you find something good you like just post it up and see if you get a response

Techniques in FAQ section, products in review section :)

I'd be interested in a 'Detailing' section - but then I would, hence the avatar ;) :D

7 layered applications of wax/sealer/glaze went onto my old SWB for JAE last year :o

Ive got the meguiars claybar and quick detailer, you wouldnt beleive how much stuff comes off with using that, I cleaned my car really well and used that after and the clay was green/brown with stuff that came off..

Detailing section would be good. Although for detailed in-depth knowledge, then http://www.detailingworld.co.uk is a bible and indispensable for those that like their cars to look their absolute best. You need to register to be able to view all the forums, only a handful are viewable to guests.

would be good to know what is good to clean ya car, but a section dedicated to cleaning wont work (well it will but will be empty)

if you like i will put a sticky in the zed general disscusion part but i dont want any converstaions just what you used and what the reslutls were

Just add a new forum to the FAQ section :) I think for it to work better though it would have to be bodywork in general - fitting bodykits, touch up work etc as well as the detailing section....

Peach i'll be coming to you once i get my 99 spec nose on and the tailgate sorted for some detailing work (i think i can stretch to a little more than a few pints, maybe even shock horror some notes in your pocket lol)

I need it professionally done to get me started for the shows then a few lessons on how to look after it :)

Poor old thing's been let go over the christmas period as i've been snowed under with work and dare i say it, the car wash has been used a few time.... :x:

OK mate :) I've not done much detailing since the end of the 'car season' really, but I have got a wide body Alfa 155 to do in a couple of weeks so that'll bring me back up to speed. Plus, I hope to be investing in a few products soon which should give some stunning results ;)
