My zed is off the road for work at the moment. Is anyone driving their zed in the snow and having fun keeping the rear end and tyres in control :smw:

lmao rainbow you are spot on, got to me mom and dads this morning (ungritted country lane) got to the bottom of their drive and no further and that was just 3" of snow!!

I think the Zs better in the snow than the BMW 325 running at 200bhp I had .The Audi 20v coupe Quattro was pretty handy. :D

my zed is off the road but i think it would not be to bad with the Falken 451's on. They have two big channels down the middle of the tyre. But if i had to pull away from the lights on rather steep incline it would be wheely spinny time.

Just brought mine back from the garage on hold mode on the autobox and it seemed to drive alright

At least my brakes work now :hyper:

My mate bought the Quattro off me and crashed it in the snow, yes it pulls better in snow but it don’t stop any better. :mac1:

Think again bud i run Falken FK452's all round and it slides just the same.. (BTW FK452 are the upgraded 451's;))

Can't say just how much i've missed it for the 3 days i've been without it :D *PLANTS A KISS ON THE BONNET*

mate i know i know pj had mine for 3 months last year!! and a month of this year!!

I was going mental after a week in valencia without the zed so can't even imagine 3 months lol

Z + Autobox + Snow = Brown trousers

Never again after a few years ago when i was driving home in the snow in my Silver zed. Car was driving me not the other way round!

Shame everyones isn't

:nono:

there would be no more zeds left if you wish that ! :slap:

rule number 1...........................dont do it LOL. I use to have to try and reverse up my road by spinning the rears to melt the snow then it would grip and shoot me another foot FFS. One year was enough for me LOL

My zed has been off the road for 3 weeks.. its getting painfull now. But it will be worth it as i have sorted the headlamps with a clean and a new HID kit. A waxoyl underside corrosion protection coating. Interior tidied up with soldered wiring looms to replace nasty clip on connector split blocks. And i had to keep the zed of the road a bit long to see what my first speeding ticket would hit me for - 72mph in a 50mph dual carriageway - got 3 points, lucky bugger me!

Errrr No. My Zed is in Bed for the winter. When the rain, snow and salt get off the road it will come out to play,

I used mine today, after 3 hours to do a 15 minute journey home i've had to abandon it in an area i'd rather not have and walk, i'm just praying it's in one piece tomorrow.
