Just remember 300bhp on the rear wheels will kill you and your mates quicker than you can say LAMPOST! So be very carful. 19 you still new to driving no matter how good you "think" you are.

Welcome :) I'd echo everyone elses statements. Don't rush into buying one and have someone who knows what they're talking about to check it out for you. The Z is an amazing car but can be very expensive. My advice would be buying a good one and paying a few grand more could save you £1000's.

 

Whilst they might look an attractive "cheap" car at the moment don't under estimate the running costs. If you're handy and can do most of the work yourself, then all well and good. If however you're a ham fisted numpty like myself and require garages and mechanics then you 'might' need deep pockets.

lol ive owned one of them as a bit of fun for private land killed it by acciedent

 

then i bought a rover project but now i decided that a 300zx is the way now for the following reasons

 

1) they look great

2) its has a great club (300zx.co.uk)

3) always fancied one since a young age

4) they quick

5) hold value if looked after (i will look after mine)

 

 

i have a design in my head but designs dont goto plan

 

ideally i want a red or a white one white prefered but im considering a auto

id got for the same design but is want electric blue insteed of white as i have loadsa blue leds ready for it (dont worry its not going to be chav as i take pride in my car and how it looks)

Because it WILL break, only a matter of time and my god can these things drink if they want too....

From a 1.1 fiesta i would really make sure you know what your doing, my step from a BMW 323i to a zed was quite "interesting" and remember id already been playing with 170bhp, not 60 lol

good luck bud, dont worry about what people say on here, just take your time and find the right one, idealy take someone local who knows what there looking at, last thing you want is to buy a ruff 300zx

have you seen crotch rockets zed, im sure he is selling his ( a mint stock uk car)

the only real zeds ive seen in real life are the ones in challow breakers and what ztech had there

 

i think a some one i know is on her going by the name of cartman - from swindon as well and he sold his recently

I when from a rover 620 turbo to the z - BIG step up in performance and an even bigger step up in cost!
