Well, had to collect an item for my friend from her house and take it to her this morning so like a good friend I drive to her place collect item from her hubbie.
Her driveway is a big long one that you go up one side pass the front door then carry on past and exit from the other side.
I come in the nice sunny side no problems. I restart the engine and realize the exit side to the drive way has a puddle of ice.
I think of trying to reserve back the way I come but realize I'd have to back out onto a busy A road. So I think about it and then her Tesco's delievery van comes up behind me so that's ways no go.
Very carefully and in 2 gear I crawl at 2 or 3 mph over the ice puddle terrified I'm gonna end up in her garden wall.
But hay my Zed's does me proud so slippage and that's the only time I've ever ever ever driven any car over ice. I'm feeling pretty proud of myself and Japonica I think he deserves being cleaned and having a nice coat of wax :cool: :)
