Basically in 1978 there was a two hour long star wars special, it's appallingly bad and george lucas disavowed any link with it afterwards.

 

This is the cut down 5 minute version including some wookies, han solo, chewie, luke and a brief appearance at the end by a seriously drugged up carrie fisher.

thought id dig this thread up - im watching this disgraceful piece of sh*t right now. my god ive never been so bored in my life. some workmates are all daring eachother to watch it and its my turn. i have never seen anything as bad as this in my life.
