Brakes

Fitting new brake disc soon anything I should know, usually not a particularly difficult..just putting feelers out for anything I should watch for etc

    Nothing special on the Z - just same as any other car - ensure that the mating faces are spotlessly clean using emery paper.

    When I did mine it was easy - the hardest part was getting the old disc off - it was stuck! I had to use a screw through the little hole in the disc which did the trick. Piece of cake really though.

    Another point is make sure you adhere to the correct run in proceedure, if you dont know it call the manufacturer,

     

    This is very important for the life and efficency of the disc, specially if you drive your 300bhp 3.5 ton sports car to it limit and beyond, and may need it to stop quickly once ot twice.
