Hi all,

as you know the zed was overheating, have taken it to pieces and found out the problems.. 1 metal turbo pipe had a whole in it as did 3 hoses.. Nissan do not have the turbo pipe in stock till 23rd feb so have cut off the end of the old one and rewelded a new end on to it and have replaced some rubber hosing which had holes in it now she is fine, runs a lot better :)

glad you got it sorted, you could of asked MJP of here as he can get parts much sooner than nissan themselfs.

there is also a second hand option, i presume you mean the water feed to the turbo, not really seen them fail, copper washers and banjos yes but not heard of pipe rotting completly, if thats the case i dont like the thought of what the rest of your engine is like internally, normally due to a poor life of proper coolant

greg

the pipe welded was damaged due to the previous owner tampering with it not due to rotting out

glad your back on the road. happy z'ing mate. remember tho take it easy this time of year slippery roads and 300 hp dont go too well.
