The badge is the only thing I could see thay was wrong too but wasn't sure that'd be it since it's just a revised version of the Z logo. Doesn't really matter does it? Or is that sacrelidge?

The 300ZX isn't officially a Z car though ;)

if they did it in xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl?

Really? Or do you mean its not since its a zx and not a z coming after the 300?

Absolutely. From the 280ZX onwards the original design concept was dropped from a 2 seater sports car to a 2+2 GT car. Yes the Z32 came in a few guises but it still wasn't a Z car officially...

It doesn't really matter, but to someone who knows, it simply wouldn't be right. Each of the Z series has had it's own Z emblem, that one is, as correctly stated, from a 350Z and not the 300ZX Z32, which can be seen at the top of this forum page.

logos looks photoshopped on there tbh

Yep, the wording defo looks photo shopped as the material is in a fold in the middle of it!!

If you have a look on Z Club.net in the Club Shop found under the forum heading General Discussion we have some very smart Nissan racing jackets for sale at £37.50 and also shirts. Sizes go up to 4XL so should fit most people.

Arkwright are the black Nissan jackets suede-look?

they are cotton I think, but you could say it looks like suede. Several people on here have bought them, perhaps someone could give a more independent opinion?

Sorry, duffman, have to disagree with you there. Here's a few quotes from the 300ZX Enthusiast's Companion:

In terms of production models, the new Z-car was to become the flagship for Nissan's new technology... When they started work on Project UZ, the new 300ZX, in autumn 1984, Nissan Product Planning Group 4 ... were themselves convinced it was time for a complete rethink, for a return to the idea which had made the 240Z such a sensation 15 years before

Just putting these two factors (driving pleasure and performance) together began to dictate the shape and form of the new Z-car. Shigeyuki Yamaoka ... project leader and manager of the Z-car programme sine 1982, explains this was the reason for continuing with a front-engine, rear-drive configuration.

And, of course, in Japan, every 240Z, 260Z, 280ZX, 300ZX, 300ZX, 350Z and the innumerable domestic variants were all called Fairlady Z. As it says on the back of the 300ZX

and on the front

attachment.php?attachmentid=29915&stc=1

And here's a Nissan poster

attachment.php?attachmentid=29916&stc=1

It's not just a matter of 2+2 = ZX and 2 seater = Z. There was a 2+2 version of the 260Z and both 2+2 & 2str for 280ZX, Z31 and Z32

Every Z car whether 240, 260, 280, 300 or 350 has been a true Z-car. Designed by the Z-car programme and built in the Z-car factory (dunno about the 350Z, tho') Nissan Shatai in Hiratsuka City near Yokohama.

So don't worry 300ZX fans, our Z is a true, official Z!
