i got called a racist today lol, i meet some wierdo's

this is great

we have a man in oneof our bedsits, he is an asian(his name is martyn) (i think), and he is a right weirdo, he text me last week to say he needed some cigarettes and it wasnt as if he was asking for a million pounds and could i buy them for him (no offer of paying cash back if i did(which i didnt) and fetch them over for him (it was 12 oclock at night), anyway he then text me to say he felt suicidle and if no one would help him he wont help himself and that he is very depressed, also asked if i knew any single women or if i had any sisters that would like to TAKE HIM OUT, i phoned him up and told him to stop sending silly texts messages with idle threats and strange demands and it stopped there for a few days

now today he saw me doing a few repairs in the house he lives and he came upto me and says that he is depressed as he s not from here (he is from london) and he was sorry for the text messages, he asked me if i knew how he could meet some friends, now as i meet all kinds of people its not the first time ive been asked if i knew where people could make friends and one of our tennants actually made a lot of friends by doing voluntary work in shops and community centres (apperenty working for free keeps the dole of their backs and it breaks the ice and is a good way of getting chatting), so i suggested this to martyn, he blew his top and told me that just becasue he is black that i think he should be working for free and that im a racist pig and was more or less calling him a slave and also that i should be locked up, apperently he is going to his solicitor (which he will get for free cause he dont work), luckily there is another asian guy that lives in our bedsits that heard everything (oh the walls have ears in our place) and he backed me up saying he was disgusted with teh way he was going on, from what ive found out he is full of shit, he has told other people in the building that he has me wrapped round his little finger and that he can get me to do anything for him lol

he also has social workers and he has been commited before he came to us, fook i meet some weirdo's in my line of work, only two months ago i was recieving death threats for asking for the rent that was owed, i could give you story like this every week its great fun

p.s this aint a racist thing, its a i meet some weirdo's thing

one of my tennants even stood there with a can in his hand and told me he aint had a drink for three days (he is a plonky lol),

how do people end up like this, surelly there must be a place we can lock all these idiots up lol

If the guys already been committed once and he's saying such stupid things he needs to go back and get better so he can be a usefull member of society.

Sad it's left to you StellaZ. Why should you be verbally abused, because some group made up of Social Worker's, Doctor's etc have not done their job properly and then dumped him on your lap. It doesn't do anyone any good. I guess they think it's cheaper just to off load the problem on guys like yourself. Makes me very cross all this 'Care in the Community', there's no such thing as the 'Community' is not trained or equiped to do the job.

Sorry guys rant over LOL

Hey Stella, I think its great someone like yourself is doing the kind of job you are because you really do need a lot of patience to deal with these kind of people (i.e. drunks, ill etc)... unlike a lot of people on here  I am also a homeowner with a house rented to an alcoholic who has become a very good friend of mine and it is sad to see how society do not have any time for these people because they are deemed useless. (I pay a lot of tax myself by the way) Also I don't think its the sole responsibility of just doctors to cure these people as they are terminally ill and most times incurable and so support can go along way.

And I don't think people have much to gain out of kicking the f**k out of someone who has probably lost all their dignity and haven't got anything else to lose.

You’ve done for 12 years. I take my hat off to ya fella ;)

well seen him today and he said hois solicitor told him that an out of court setilment of around £200 should be enough compensation for him, he will get settled out of court alright, just another fookin waster trying to con cash out of honest working people

we dont advertise for alcholics or care in the community, its just that they turn up (they are always well spoken, polite and sober whe they are being vetted) then once they have the room they start being a general pain in the arse, most of them would get thrown straight out for doing something like this, but if they are care in the community you have to be careful as they usually have the courts on their side

i love being a property manager (i started as a plumber lol), get to meet some great people, but i also get to meet some right fookin ****a's aswell
