Did they make a 300zx TT without ABS??

 

Have been told by nissan that nabco branded seal kits are for ABS models and the tokico brand is for none ABS models. (seal kits for brake master cylinders)

 

Really confused thought all zed's would have had ABS as standard

 

Have been trying to find and buy a brake master cylinder (none genuine), local motor factors came up with 2 options as the bore size differs, so ordered both and neither is right. The ports are on the opposite side to the cylinder we've taken off the car and the third port on the cylinder we have taken off the car protrudes from the unit but seems to have no use as it is blanked off.....

I'm sure all UK cars had ABS but not sure about JDM TT's.

I know not all NA's had ABS.

I'd assume that nissan are looking up Z31... have you tried MJP (trader on here) - he actually knows what he's talking about!

My NA doesn't have ABS - or HICAS, or electric seats, or rear seats :dance: ,or cruise control or performance :rofl: :rofl:

But it is reliable :dance: :dance:

Mine is a non ABS NA also.

Just for reference... the NON ABS BMC has four separate outlets, one to each wheel..

ABS was optional on the NA in the early years.

 

Standard on TT

If you look here http://www.300zx.org.uk/model_variations.htm (and no, I don't know where the missing pics have gone) other models like Series IV ('94/10 - '97/ 1) also had Optional ABS

Have only just checked back after posting this and my zed has brakes again thank god, now needs steering rack and pump though.

First things its 'needed' since I bought it and can't complain about spending money, it is an old car.

Mines a 93 N/A and iv'e got ABS.

i know many of the guys who have posted on this thread such as Gio, Apache, SuffolkZX. Legrath Etc etc. All top blokes who are always willing to help. Just ignore the others or report the post to MAC1 who will sort them out.
