It turns out I have not got stock injectors. I am currently waiting to find out what size they are. I am also waiting to hear whether the turbos have been changed/uprated

This I presume is why on your basic (JD) chip my engine has been running soooo rich.

When I find out what I've got I think I will need a more specific fuel map.

What do you think?

Cheers...

I'm surprised it runs at all. Either 440s or 555s, although 555s will only just run on a stock map....

I may be wrong but I though with bigger injectors and stock map it would run lean (probably am wrong LOL)

No it would run rich. Bigger injectors deliver more fuel per minute, so if the ecu is still opening the injectors for the same amount of time, more fuel will be entering the engine...

Well it is not a stock map, it is a mildly aggressive map and certainly leaner that the stock map.

I don't think they are 555s because they are not the right colour. Should have more info soon.

I've been told the injectors are kind of bluey/grey.

I have found the attached picture showing Nismo injectors and this thread about ones that MarkZX found in his engine.

Can anyone shed any light on their size? I'm more confused now!

Thanks...

I bought those injectors off of Mark & they ran horribly lean with a 555s chip, had to take them out again, I think he is going to get them flowtested.

do they have any writing on them?? think the nismo ones have denso written on them if i remember rightly but in japan they so sard injectors which fit straight in, i know someone with 550's and another with 500 sard injectors so could be anything really

I'll try and find out if they have any writing on them.

I've got a feeling they might be the 420cc injectors.

We'll have to wait and see...
