does anyone know where the best place in central scotland is to get a service seen as mine is back up in crd with water pouring out the bottom of it only a month after gettin it back from a full rebuild!!!!!!!!!!

havent heard of any Z specialists, there is supposed to be someone in Bonnybridge thats good with Jap performance motors but havent dealt with them myself and cant remember their name. Give Paul (paul300zx) a shout hes in Edinburgh any may know someone around there.

 

I try to do all my own work A. because Im a stingy coont and B. I dont trust many others to do the work properly ( backed up by the fact ive just found out the robbing cowboy *******s i payed to plate my sill returns 2 years ago welded them with reinforcing mesh fiberglass and caty :rant: )

just want to get a garage to give it a service once i get it back from them as i have no confidence in it at the min and its doing my head in cause i love the car

Some garage in Scotland wanted to be an official trader - I think they did servicing - sorry can't remember any more.

I think the place in Bonnybridge is called Hypertec.

just cant be bothered with crd it just seems to come back with the same problems all the time. out of interest how often should u need to check ur coolant level? i do mine every morning cause im nervous about driving it without checkin.

You shouldn't really have to check it every day, that's going to spoil your enjoyment :(

 

Once a week should be fine, same with the oil, but not if you're having problems I suppose.

 

I hate giving my car away to other people to work on. God knows what they've bodged, and don't even mention how they test drive it. That's a generic statement by the way, not slagging off the garage you are using.

well was up today to c the car its got a burst radiator which they are replacing will be back on the road next week

I`ve used hypertec in the past. They changed an autobox for me first zed. Seemed to know there stuff and think they have worked on a few 300`s.

If its a local tech meet i'll try and make it with me Datascan if it helps, maybee not in the zed though, front crank oil seal tbd, just waiting till i am off in Feb.
