the car starts on 1st turn of the key every time but...

 

after a few mins of driving i get to a junction and she starts to hiccup a bit, when you tap the loud pedal the revs drop right down to near stalling point before picking up again :rolleyes:

 

any ideas?

after it warms up there is no problem till the return journey at end of the day and the same thing happens

Identical problem to yours and after LOADS of pi55ing about trying all sorts problem was as previously stated - ECU temp sender terminals corroded!

Nooooooooooooooo as previously stated remove the sender, clean the sender and terminals, also clean the plug contacts. Ten min job! all will be ok after this is done. The ecu is not getting the correct temp so over fueling.

noooooooooooooooo my understanding is the ecu temp sender will alter idle more so than fueling :tongue: ;)

Cold start enrichment and idle increase:

 

attachment.php?attachmentid=29804&stc=1

 

Enrichment is mS added to injector opening time from base map. Idle increase is RPM added to normal idle of 750rpm...
