Morning,

Been getting all my CD's transferred onto my PC so I can play them on my carputer (when I finally put it it). What I want to know id how can I play the files in another room? Does anyone know of a home stereo that you can upload MP3/WMA files to?

Cheers

Vijay

as in a home stereo with a HDD? Can't say I've seen one - but most CD players will play MP3 discs nowadays

There are some HiFi's with USB and/or MP3 player ports out now.

The other method is some kind of media player connected to the HiFi and you stream music to it via your home network.

Looks good but I think I'd have to hve my main PC on all the time :( Hoping for something I can just add/delete albums to and also FM radio.

my comp at home has optical output to my reciever amp 7.1 chanell its great, best thing i ever bought was the logitec wireless keyboard mouse & remote!!

wouldnt it be awsome having the remote working with the carputer as my remote works anywhere in the house, all you need is a usb port, just a thought.

Just went to Currys and the only one I could find was a Hitatchi unit that was quite big, had a 40GB HDD and was £500 :(

Can you guys remember what make the one you saw in Currys was?

Cheers
