peeled dashboard

hi everyone. i tried fixing my peeled up dash board 2day. but i could'nt take the vent out the top of the dash.i tryed using a screw driver. whats it held in by and has any one had the same problem?how can i get that vent out? :headvswal

    Metal spring clips at the back. Carefully get a flat screwdriver under the far left hand end and gently lift, working your way to the centre. Once the left one is out do the right one from the end towards the centre. Be carefull tho because the plastic will be very brittle in this cold weather...
