yup and remember how this kit was plugged as the best thing ever to be made for these cars blah blah blah.

then how many guy went out and baught it?

How many have still not recieved it (thank god for them)

And now i have this huge engine failure, which hs cost me a fooking fortune.

I cant say its the breather kit that did it obviously, but its pretty wierd really.

Result of my turbo failure was due to oil starvation. frown.gif

Wonder who would be liable for this little endeavour?

And a word of warning for everyone.

DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ABOUT 90% OF THESE FANTASTIC MADE UP PRODUCTS.

Shows you that their is no cheap shortcut to maintaining cars like this.

IF your turbo i on its way out, then get it fixed properly.

(The good thing about me being on this forum is im a big stupid cunt who trys all this shit and pays pays pays for it on all your behalfs biggrin.gif)

It's good that Tony posted about his car running crap after fitting this kit which resulted in the test by Eric!

I never bought one because as Warren says above, there are ways you can hide problems but they are not the cure! Has anyone else who fitted this kit experienced the vacuum problem?

Warren, the turbo oil return lines run straight back to the sump. If there were problems with the oil flow back from the turbo then this could be part of your problem.

Ball bearing turbo's are meant to be stronger and more reliable with less stress. The boost pressure you were running should barely have taxed the GT3530's so it does seem ironic that you had a catastrophic failure.

Perhaps someone like Jim Wolfe could comment on the setup and pro's / cons of this system?
