:headvswal I have a rather dangerous problem with my car at the moment, the main fuel line is slipping / popping off the fuel filter when the car is running spraying the engine bay with fuel how this never ended in disaster is pure luck.

This has happened twice now. Has anyone had this problem before?.

I have not had a chance to check for a blockage or anything yet as its snowing outside. after the first time i made sure the hose was tight but it still came off.

maybe the hoses need replacment? They swelling with the pressure casuing it to slip off...Are your hose clips good?

final thing to try is to rough the pipe the hose is going to , over time both the inside of the rubber hose and the outside of the metal pipe become slightly polished
