Dude to be honest if we all said they were brilliant it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to you.

I could be wrong but if you have the same tyre compounds as in Aus then they are completely different to over here, so it would be no good us commenting.

I was just wondering what they would be like as a comparison to others. The price over here in New Zealand is quite cheap and normally that means cr@p, but not always.

I see over there that Toyo's over there are well liked, yet over here Bridgestones tend to have a small lead. Like you say, compounds will be different, but on a whole a decent tyre manufacturer won't make a good tyre for one country and not another.

Thanks for your reply.

i rate fuldas much better than toyos, then again tyres will always be down to personal choice. i think for the money fuldas are great

I've had a few sets of Fulda tyres and they've been great, but as Scrawni said, they'll be different compounds over your way :)

Bridgestones always get good ratings here but they're about the most expensive you can buy - I remember getting a quote of £450 EACH for my 285 rears a few years ago!

A lot of guys swear by the Goodyear Eagles.

Toyos and Falkens seem to be a good compromise on price/performance though.

Hi,

I had some stock size Fulda Extremos on the front of my old Z32 NA and they seemed fine for grip...wet or dry.

Cheerz,

Jez

Hey mate

What I meant about different compounds is they are made from different materials, I.E: in Aus they are carbon based and the U.K silicone based (or visa versa) and this made the tyres in Aus deadly in the wet, now I don't just mean driving fast but i could drift my old Falcon at about 40kmh in the wet.

But I see what you mean about equal quality from different countries.

Cheers guys, your input is much appreciated. Sounds like they are a good tyre so will look into compounds and ratings with a fine tooth comb.
