Trouble with the D2's is that the spring rates are very harsh (much harsher than Teins). Definatly track orientated, and not really for the road.

i've got way to much time on my hands, so, what about this item

i've checked for the corresponding calipers and discs from ebay and the whole lot could be put together for between 500-600quid. can any other packages be picked up for less?

Same spec as the Skyline GTR upgrade, although the GTR calipers are pretty much a stright bolt on without the need for the bracket.

how much d'ya think it would be for the GTR package and how often do they come up for sale?

i really want to upgrade the brakes before i start on anything else...

The gtr upgrade smithy sells uses skyline discs with an adaptor to move the stock caliper.Im going down the other route using 350z 12.75" track rotors and a caliper bracket.all sourced from the USA.both are a vast improvement on the stock set up.

Them D2 coilovers are about full retail through apex performance which is a k sport dealer . K sport and D2 are the same but branded diffrently. Not a bad budget coilover .

I managed to get a set of brembo R33 GTR callipers for £300 quid off ebay. Don't think the guy knew what he had.

New disks, pads and braided hoses for around £500.

There are currently R33 GTR calipers on ebay, fronts only though.

Good luck they may go for a lot of money.

I lost an auction on a previous set that went for £650 ish.

There are a set of rears on Ebay buthtey are in Japan

Darrell

Megan coilovers can be had for about the same price from US ebay, spring rates are between Tein and D2.

For my SWB im thinking

£210 KYB AGX with ebay

£250 Ground Control adjusters? ebay

to get it low but still comfortable.

dont skyline coilovers fit the zed?

if so, which exact version? They can be had at good prices!

No skyline coilovers are diffrent than zeds ive looked into this before.

You 100% about r32?

Im fairly sure skyline r32 coilovers have diffrent bottom mounts than the zed on the front anyway maybe the rears will fit not sure .They do use the same 2 hole top mounts as the zed under the bonnet [3 hole s13 and s14] and they share the same top camber arms .
