Yep, that first one looks nasty, i hate those afterburner rear lights, on

any car, especially mr2's, they look awful.

The second one is much better, gtchris has a good reputation

amongst mr2 owners too.

I have an mr2 turbo, running approx 270bhp, and to say it's nippy

is an understatement, can't imagine what 500+bhp would be like!!

first one should be blown up. second one is nice, but i couldnt pay £8000 for a mr2. not that nice to drive either, IMHO!

They're OK but I think the MR2 is starting to look really quite dated, and not in a "classic" kind of way either. Completely agree about those aluminium spoilers. I've seen one looking good on a 200sx (think it belonged to someone on here - orange and black), and I've seen one look moderately OK on a Skyline in a kind of "well I didn't immediately start vomiting blood" kind of way. Still, each to their own.

I still like the last generation of MK2 MR2. It's still the nicest out of the lot. The current MR2 looks so cheap and nasty with it's 'Halfrauds package deal' wheels on it.

 

These don't look that dated IMHO. Early poverty spec ones do though. But something like a Rev3 still looks nice.
