Well I'm not sure how I've managed it but I've just done 180 miles on £30.

I've got a bit of a boost problem at the mo' so I've not been tempted to "play" as much as normal but you know how it is when someone is trying to hustle, you've just gotta show them.

I must be driving like a complete poof!!!!! :x:

Oh, it's a jap spec TT manual.

I think that's about 25mpg.

Some TT owners have managed very low 30s on gentle motorway cruising (65-70mph IIRC).

I'D LOVE TO GET 25 MPG :headvswal

i find in the auto if you stick it at 70mph on cruise control on the motorway you'll get about 60+ miles to every ten quid

Did you break down half way and transported?

Good stuff wish mine was that good. Will have to take the lead out me shoes.

I can't see a phenomenon like this happening very often, especially when I get my boost controler fitted and get it chipped.

When I first got it I was getting around 200 miles to £50, just goes to show that it can be done, even if it is pretty boring. Roll on better weather and dry roads.

I have done 410 miles on a full tank in my swb tt zed once. Going to and from cardiff at a steady 55mph.

Yep, I've recorded just over 30mpg in TT on a 150 mile journey....and it was at a constant 80mph! Wish NA would do that on motorway.

dont know how you lot manage that? i can only stick it for so long then some moron in a (insert wannabe boy racer car here) always has to go and make me press the pedal again.

and why did they not make the N/A with the TT axle, shorter 1-4 and the same top? it would actually be quite economical on a run then, i'd imagine?

my N/A Auto used to be pretty good. Could get From Bournemouth to Ashford (kent) via Westbourne (sussex) on a tadge over 1/4 of a tank. (mind you, I had the ex missus with me, she'd moan if I went over 75)
