turbo replacement and gear box out job ???

what is the quickest way to convert my auto to manual(job for the winter) and upgrade turbo's

is it better to pull the engine out with gearbox or drop gearbox and change turbo's in posiion.

    Drop the gearbox and then pull the engine!

     

    The autobox weighs in alot more than a manual box and although the workshop manual shows the engine can be pulled with the gearbox intact, it easier to remove it first.

     

    Change the turbo's with the engine out of the car!
