Well got my first telling off on a website :smash:

Was i wrong to do this?

Theres a guy on a home cinema who advertises a parcel posting service via parcelforce, now as many of you know i am a manager for parcelforce so in his ad he advertises it as a non profit making service and i know for a fact that he nearly doubles his money on every parcel, now i could have ignored this but i felt as a reseller of our services i should pm him and ask him to remove the line where he says he doesnt make money on it??

Well he didnt take it very well!! :xxx:

Posted up my pm, started going into how much his overheads are, which he pays someone £7 per hour to process all his orders?? then goes onto say he has had 13 orders this week and he pays someone to do the orders mon-fri 9am to 5pm?? now bearing in mind it takes a few seconds to process a parcel with us  so i simply said well can i work for you then as your staff are clearly underworked LOL

anyway after a few more posts a mod says if i post anymore on that site i will be banned :xxx:

he worse thing is technically i should cancel his parcelforce account as we have a mininum pricing structure for resellers of our services and he is well under the price!!

If he is nearly doubling his money on every parcel, and you are thinking of cancelling his agent account because he is charging well under ParcelForce's minimum pricing structure, it just proves what a massive profit ParcelForce are making on their direct customers like me!

Please don't ban me from this site for saying this lol

I take it they know who you work for lol.

Have you asked the site to explain why they're threatening to ban you? I think you should ask them and explain who you work for it might, then see what they say.

kirbz seeing as you are a manager of parcelforce anyway you could follow up a damaged parcel problem from feb last year as im still waiting for a reply  parcelforce damaged a bonnet i purchased off of a member on here.

well it doesnt work like that, the service he gets is a next day service which he has a contract through another company but he also has a website which he resells our services, now i dont personally have a problem with this but from a parcelforce point of view, what he is doing is remote booking on behalf of private people so we (parcelforce) are having to go out to a private home address and then deliver it again to a home address which costs us twice as much as a business collection and delivery so in fact it possible costs us more to actually collect/deliver his parcels than he pays

hence why they set a price, think its around £11 per parcel :)

hi bud,

its a bit late now, tbh we should never have took it as we are not a specialised courier that can carry such big things, the max we can take is 1.5m in length and a max of 3m in girth :) so a bonnet if well over it and the driver etc should have said something

You're a manager of parcelforce and you wouldn't send out that free ice you've got??!!

I wanted some of that!

Boo!!!!

hummm ok! but last time i looked at a z bonnet it deffo was not over 1.5 m x 3m thanks anyhow. shame as it was mint before it got sent and the monkey driver not only dropped it once on the nose. it was also spun upside down and dropped again causing the pointed section of the bonnet to bend up! soo totally fooked up.

no 1.5m is the max size of any length and the girth is all the way round the largest dimension which the zed bonnet if much bigger than that ;)

sorry to hear about that thought :(
