Iv had this problem for the first time since getting the car back in July

When it starts to rain both targa roofs start to let water in, drivers side being the worst affected...... The part of the roof nearest the front towards the wwindow on the drivers side just starts to drip when it starts raining......have no bloody idea what it could be

Were should i start and what should i do?

Img guessing these might help

If not then what else can i do.......by the way, remember the fact that im not very good at mechanical things

Thanks for any help

i had a similar problem - although the rainwater was running down the back of the a-pillar and out the top gauge pod. i replaced the entire rubbers and it didnt really help. i got a bottle of rubber sealant from halfrauds and it seems to have cured it - although saying that i had to use half the tube and bits of the sealant are visible upon inspection.

the best way to id where the water is getting in is to remove the targa(s) and pour some water into the 'drains' above the T-bar. follow the water and see if it goes underneath any rubber - a usual cause. also make sure that the water enters the draining holes at the top of the A-pillar and ejects at the front wheel arches.

i have similar problem to you SkylineDave. when it has been raining my top pod is full of water. I also sometimes get a small drops of water from where the front edge of the drivers side t-top meets the roof, towards the corner.

I will check to see what happens when i pour water through the little hole but it seems exactly the same problem as you have so where did you apply the sealant?

i dont want to take the targa off at the moment, but you can see bits of sealant (circled) where i found that water was running beneath the rubber (the bit where the rubber goes flat). i had to dump about a third of a tube's worth there cos it wasn't working but in the end i think i cracked it.
