APEXi Power FC > They dont do a Z32 version do they?

Featured Replies

I spoke with Clive at RC Developments couple of months ago about these, he gave me a demo of one fitted to an EVO whilst i was there, puka piece of kit, ECU, commander and boost controller, should be around the £1,200 mark, but mega time to fully set up.

Was led to believe that the Z32 was available.

should be around the £1,200 mark,

Cor thats alot of cash!! Theres a group buy on the GTR board for £670 with the hand controller! http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?s=3709a2f72e9e1bd66df85dfba469b4db&threadid=2141

Time to setup I can understand, but these are supposed to have basic maps for each type of car. So you can plug it in and drive away, and set it up another day! biggrin.gif

They do a kit for the Z32.

It an awesome bit of kit, although apparently when plugged into a laptop, the software is really naff.

Yeah Warren it seems Border modify the Power FC for the Z32:

But I dont think APEXi support it.

I understand that Motec are the more popular choice, I've have seen some serious road/race cars with the various setups(M800's etc). But they have to be configured via laptop dont they(an not a little hand held gizmo biggrin.gif )?

Rowan from 600plus said a while back that LINK are doing a fully adjustable Link Engine Management System for the Z32 so that could be another option.

The link looks cool.

they do a straight ecu swap out for the 300zx tt.

I tired to contact the Uk Distributer, but no reply.

Racelogic can supply all the kit to read and fudge the maps yourself - you'd need to be pretty brave and bloody clever to do it though. Having you're own rolling road would help too !
