Its the Stonebridge one, easy to get to from the M6, its on the A45 and if you are comming from the other way the M42 is just around the corner, big car park and its a carvery.

Two points.

I have been long time ago. We used it as a Z Club meeting place.

Its on the island NEXT to the NEC Island if you catch my drift.

for me from J26 on M1 its approx 50 miles.. so personally thats OK. Basically M1 then onto A42/M42 all the way. virtually same distance as that snooty Boat Inn near Solihull.

Im sure the others will post up their opinions if you start a new "meet " thread with a date.

Sounds good, only thing with the A45 is all those ******** speed camera's every 2 feet. When we thinking of in Feb? 25th would be best for us due to work commitments.

 

Possible choice for another time is that Mickey B's dad, Alan, has a nice pub not far from J22 of the M1, that would be quite central for everyone - halfway for the Nottingham lads, Northants guys and not far for those in the Leicester area either.

Sounds good to me, i'm trying to find out when the next auction is (i'm on techinical support once a month for them, had one yesterday and it ruined the day for me keep checking my phone every ten mins) so ideally should be a free weekend for me if poss.

Yep Dave thats the current plan now.

Ie We go West to SouthBham area in Feb as suggested by Scrawni and then come South to Fosse Park area in March.

So check out a location for us all and keep us posted
