i am off for my MRI scan today, two different scans, one called a contrast scan.

 

problem is we have found out the scan should have been done in the first 24 hours after that the longer it takes the less it will show anything, they are saying it will not likely show anything unless there has been a bleed.

 

we have to wait 7 more days for the results then and then to see my neurologist.

 

things are improving here, my speech is slowly improving, but I'm still slurring things, my vision is better just a little faded and blurry so I'm off to the opticians.

 

i still do not have the full use of my right side, its still weak and loss of some feeling there also.

my right side of my face has picked up and the right eye does not droop as much now.

 

i have found s spell checker plug-in so i can get my typing right now so you can understand me, handy for those moments my right hand goes nuts on me!!!!

 

as soon as we know more i will let you all know.

ok todays scan went well, they did a standard scan if nothing was found they were going to leave it at that if not then they would do a contrast scan. The operator came in with a nurse and said they were going to put contrast dye in me but were not specific as they cannot diagnose they are not allowed,they then injected me with contrast dye and took more scans.

 

i developed sarcoidosis of the left lung a while ago and they are now checking for neurosarcoidosis also to make sure it isnt in the brain also.

 

nothing to report i have to wait upto a fortnight for the results.

Wow that does sound scary but the odds are in your favour. I'm sure there's nothing we can say that you don't already know but fingers crossed for ya mate.
