99' spec headlights vs HID upgrade on Stock

Besides the massive price tag, what more do you actually get from getting the 99' spec headlights ove the various HID upgrades?

    The visual design is different (inserts are differnet shape and chromed), but Most of the price difference is because your buying complete headlights (with hid) versus just the HID kit.

     

    Manufacturers often ask an additional £1000+ for HID option on new factory purchases.

     

    pre-99 Headlamps (without HID) were around £600 pair from Nissan UK
