The Z Club have arranged a long weekend in France and hope you would like to join us.

 

June 8th till 11th

The weekend will start on the Friday (as any good weekend should) with a welcoming BBQ and the weekend will including taking advantage of the French Food, wine and ROADS!!!

 

some of us will be staying on at the campsite to chill out by the pool before moving on to le Mans for the 24hour race.

Apart from camping the site also offers mobile homes, prices are as follows

Camping

13 euros per tent per night (approx £9.20) or 12 euros for 3 or more nights, this includes full use of shower facilities

Mobile homes

50 euros per night (approx £35) or 45 euros for 3 or more nights.

The mobile homes sleep a minimum of 4 people (you can request 3 bedroom van) and the cost is per mobile home not per person. they are self contained units with their own kitchen/shower/living rooms.

Duvets and pillows are provided but not bed linen but this can be supplied for an extra 5 euros per person.

we have a convoy of about 6 cars that are catching the Thursday night ferry (11.00pm) from Portsmouth to Le Harve, using http://www.ldlines.co.uk and the ones that are not going onto le Mans will be returning on the Tuesday 5.00pm Ferry.

 

But will Portsmouth be any good to you?

 

There is another group of 4 coming over via the tunnel but I don't think they have booked anything yet, we also have some others using Sea France. I'll try and get some more details about what they are all up to.

We could organise a 300zx convoy i guess, depends where everyone wants to go from. Its too fookin far either way for me so not bothered which one we meet at :tongue: :rofl:

Although I'd love to come on this trip, I must have Eliza fully functional first, as a leaking rear crank seal is not a good idea for such a long trip, and I won't have the money to sort this and a couple of other problems for a few months yet :(

We are coming from all over the place so just meeting up at Portsmouth - probably just outside the ferry check in or on the boat in the bar!! We will be traveling down from Bristol.

 

L&D ferries seem to be booking up fast, they still have a few cabins left or you can go for the reclining seat option.

2 of us are leaving Plymouth on Fri 15th to Roscoff, heading for friends house for the night,then driving to le Mans on sat, in a Z32, wondering where you guys are camping for le Mans to meet up... and possibly save us a spot for 1 or 2 nights, as might head back to friends after race on sunday

Expo......... ?? sorry if being thick, but not sure where or what that is ?

Expo is just one of the many campsites around Le Mans circuit, it has to be said one of the quieter ones (i'm getting old!!), It is about a 5 minute walk from the circuit, Masion Blanc and some of the other ones are alot closer to the action.

 

Even if we don't camp together I'm sure we can arrange to meet up at some point

Will be staying with some friends of mine in Southern Normandy and would quite like to meet up at the campsite one evening or something. Sorry to jump on this so late but am going to Le Mans. Aiming to get there for thursday mid day.

An american pal of mine and his son is borrowing the Z as me the missus and the kids are going in the Ferrari. It would be really cool to see other Z'ds there. we are camping at karting nord (party on).

 

Any idea How many others are coming??? :nana2:
