No, it's Russell Floyd's who owns Z1Motorsports out in the Georgia (USA) and it is proven 1051rwhp. Incidently, he invited me out to stay with him and his crew at this year's 300ZX nationals day in March.

its a tt its has an engine swap! look at the turbo pipes at the sides of the engine in carbon fibre with the blow off valves sticking up.

LOL....I gotta decide what to do next year James....it's either back to SoCal, there or off to France with ZClub in June....can't decide.

decisions decisions Simon.i could also be tempted in a trip to France.should have my engine done by then.ran yours in by going to france so i could do the same if im feeling brave !!!.

The Z meet is happening near there and then everyone's going to LeMans. It's all in the Loire Valley anyway, so you may as well go.

the meet is the week b4 aint it? if so wont be able to make both cos of the dog... but would be nice to meet u all at le mans :duffer:

Lovely Lovely car but no way on earth is is running over 1000 rwhp

 

for a start its running 740cc injectors so at most it would ever run including nos is around 700 bhp and even if you added the nos as extra its running a 100 shot so it doesnt add up to over 1000 :rolleyes:

 

usual USA BS BHP i'm affraid

 

still its a stunning car and i would have it in a shot :dance:

Geez, what does it take to convince you that horsepower figure is real? Si posted the chart, the guy obviously knows a thing or two about engines. Is it just the fact that he's American make it hard to accept?

If the injectors won't put enough fuel through then it seems unlikely.

 

American dynos seems to register more power than elsewhere.

 

Still a very, very nice car.
