Just thought I would say a quick hello to all you scottish members, I have recently just bought (yesterday) a Fairlady Z 2+2 TT 1991 and have driven it home but have a few minor issues with it, probably newbie stuff.

 

Anyway I am in Inverness so if anyone local knows a lot about these and want to offer some advice I would be interested.

just to let you know I have been looking at the car and have found the 4th syncro to be worn so looking to try millers gearbox oil in it first if not i'll drop it off and replace the syncro.

 

other than just really need to get to know the car just now I have some minor trim issues and detailing to sort. if it ever stops rainning and blowing 80+ mph i'll get some pics taken, but not this weekend as my fence blew down today so will be fixing that.

I don't fecking believe this but had the car since saturday, The windscreen cracks on the way home no biggy insurance job, then today (3rd time I have driven it) I get a call while I am on a rig measuring up and some ******* has smashed in my rear quarter panel, at least they have left me there insurance details, but still don't need this hassle right now. tell you if one more thing goes wrong the car is going (before I end up piling money into it.
