Sorry fella, but that ain't good, I WAS around number 10 on the list you

published cos one of my customers pointed it to me, based on that and you

saying sometime ago that the 1st batch went out, everyone thought i was in

that batch, i will copy your mails sent to me on to the guys who have

ordered and see what they want to do, for a $2,000 order i would have

expected better than this and gives me no faith in buying large quantities

of products for the future. I really think you should have secured your

supplies better before demanding that people pay by a certain date, which is

a long time ago now and of course bearing in mind we will wait longer than

any of your other customers, because of the distance.

i await your responce, but feel it wise to warn you, they may now want a

refund of their money as you have had plenty of time to supply their goods.

First off..... I understand your problems... BUT as I stated MANY times.

Panels will be made and shipped in the order the money is recieved BECAUSE OF

PANEL AVAILBILITY. I stated in numerous e-mails and advertisiments that there

may be two different shipments of panels...so to secure yours in the first

shipment you need to send money asap.....You were NOT number 10 at ANY

time.... I added e-mail address to my website as money was recieved

you stand now. AS I stated.. I add e-mail address as money was recieved.

 

This is not your ordinalry business.... this is a custom thing. Everyone

(INCLUDING YOU) were breifed on panel availbility and the order they were to

be made. It would not be fair at all to make your 10 before someone who had

paid me 1 month before you now would it.

 

You can forwad this to all of your customers .. I don't care. Obviously one

of your customers who said that you were number 10 was incorrect... You need

to find out the facts before you go accusing people of these things. Your

attitude will not get your panels shipped to me any faster. They will be done

and shipped as soon as they arrive. It's that simple.

 

About you buying from me in the future.... if you are going to act this way I

would rather you not purchase anything for that matter. You have your own

business... I can't believe you wouldn't understand some of what is going on.

So before you accuse me of lowering your number or whatever, you need to

check the website for YOURSELF instead of relying on your customers.

Smithy, your group buy is (now) listed as 32 - 42. But jobs 45 - 53 are listed as already shipped so he's not fulfilled in the right order.

 

Also he said he was expecting the next set of panels w/c 8 April. Still not arrived? Must be that famous American efficiency I guess. What an aerosol.

 

Or he got the hump with enquiry and bumped you off the queue - what an even bigger aerosol. frown.gif

If I understand this correctly there is a difference between the order in which the emails arrived and the order in which money arrived. He ships on the money list but publishes the email list. A little confusing, but it seems fair to me.

I definitely don't understand this properly but the guy seems to have told Smithy that the e-mails were added as money received?

 

If (and I mean if) this is right, it does seem a bit odd that a bunch of people after "our" group buy have already had theirs shipped and Smithy's not. Looking at the guy's website he says "except international shipment" with no further explanation? And I just noticed that he has been able to ship an Australian order so what's the problem?

 

Anyway, I don't care (other than the principle) as I haven't ordered one. But it's just a bit unfortunate for one of "us" to get caught in the middle.

Just to confirm guys, the buy opened on the 6th march, i was number 10 on list, on the 9th March i made a $1,000 payment, followed by the same again 2 days later, i have a mail from him dated 9th march, saying that only 20 people have paid so far, so our place moved to 21, which means our panels SHOULD have been sent by now as he is above number 21 at the moment, i really think it's a case of the english can wait, i have confirmation from a number of people in states they have recieved their panels and are happy, if you guys still want em, it's a case of waiting it out, let me know anyways

Smithy, I've been after one of these for the best part of three years (several posts on the wanted area and many e-mails to the breakers), so a couple more weeks won't hurt.

Dont want to put the willies up you guys but when I here suppliers talking to their customers in that manner, it gives me itchy foot. No offence Smithy - infact, you are probably more pissed off than anyone else cus your reputation is in jepardy evrytime a supplier bends the truth.

 

Anyway, I hope it all turns out rosey in the end for you all.

Having interigated his website, it seems to me that he is not looking after his big customers. I appreciate that all customers should be treated equally, but on a personal level, he should take the time to asure you that all is ok..blah, blah, blah.

 

Smithy, its obvious that you are providing some big business for him and I dont think that it will do him any good giving you attitude. If you gave him attitude, then thats your perogative as a let down customer.
