i dont no too lazy to search yourself

After a fookin load of searching, I've come up with this.....

attachment.php?attachmentid=29031&stc=1

Hth ;)

Oh yeah, I've no idea where to buy them though :D

useless  pmsl :D

Not entierly, at least you know what part number to ask for when you eventually find somewhere that sells them :D I think they are the 550, but you'll have to check the sizes..... or have a word with Daz and see wher he got his from. If you can't get hold of him, have a word with Boldy as he might be able to help.

Comet is Hella... If you search "Hella 550" on ebay - there's several sets, all from US, but some of them ship worldwide.

Dave

is it legal to leave fog lights on??

Vijay

Yes if visibility is less tham 100m because of fog

Most good motor factors should be able to supply these IIRC Daz got his from Partco . HTH

Well for me, even though am a UK spec, i have enough openings as there is on me new front bumper, didn't want fog lights that i would never use, so thought i would fit driving lights instead so that they would at least get used, though with 99 spec front headlights, i should be able to see where am going :)

So there's a difference between front driving lights and fog lights????

Yes mate, usually the lens is different as it produces the light for different reasons. Oh and often the bulb wattage can be different too..

Fog light gives a flat beam with a not too good range. Spot/driving light gives a round (generally) beam that goes well down the road.

Fogs for those who like to pose. Driving lights for those who drive.

Just measure the stick UK lamp and I think the closest match would be the 450 ;)

Vijay

Yes, or possibly if there is a warning lamp that comes on at the same time. But the best way is for them to be wired to the main beam.

A good pair can make a massive difference, and its not just outright power, lens and reflector design are important too. I have found that cheap big power bulbs can be not as bright as a good quality, legal power bulbs.

Fog lights also have to be no more than a certain height above the ground. All legal tosh of course as proven by the amount of drivers who use them all the time.

Parkinsons actually  -If anyone want em' give me a shout! :)

What did they cost all in with new nuts, bulbs and lights?

I saw on your fitted new fogs post you say they were the nearest fit... Did you have to alter anything then to get them in on do they slot it as ours do?

Cheers
