im sure someone may correct me but on stock tubs you may notice a slight difference if its cold bit it will only be negligible.

i think the idea is to drop the charge temp ....hence you can up the boost , injectors and tubs and internals permitting ....its part of an ongoing uphill struggle ...i bought Kirbz old Border front mount so when i fit the thing i will post if any difference

not expecting any to be honest but it looks the dogs..or will when its polished up again ...and if it lowers my charge temp then im a bit further away from det than i am now which cant be a bad thing can it .

lowering of charge temps will improve bhp , simply beacause a colder charge is a more dense charge carrying more power therein

a front mount looks better but a couple of upgraded side mounts performs better - the front mount also restricts the air flow to the rad

[you may notice a slight difference if its cold bit it will only be negligible].Dont you mean when it hot weather .

the cooler the charge, the more jungle juice you can mix and so the bigger the bang in the cylinders :hyper:

FMICs will only really help you to up the boost past 15psi (obviously when coupled with upgraded injectors and tubbies)

as said, will prob only give a small increase but is also a good safety measure when upping the boost. decent uprated sidemounts have been proven to give slightly better performance results than a FMIC unless running silly high power.

the reason why i ask is because ive just bought another zed the guy had bought it from japan and it had a greedy fmic on it . the guy new nothing about the car really he didnt even know if there was a boost controller . when i took it out for a spin i could tell the oost was up the apexi gauge wasnt reading it so i assume it is knackered but it was much faster than stock . after a look about i found the boost controller in the glove box along with another apexi device which im not sure what it is it had 4 or 5 round buttons on it saying -30to + 30 anyone have an idea what it is the car felt faster than my previous zed which running 14 psi thats why im asking im trying to work out why it felt considerably faster then my past zed .
