Looks like there going to show it,thought they would, viewing figures will rocket for this episode :)

BBC chiefs had been deliberating for months whether to show the 288mph dragster crash that left the presenter close to death, The Sun reported.

However, co-host Jeremy Clarkson, 46, told the newspaper: "Half the world wants to see the crash so I'm sure we will show it.

"We're looking into whether we've enough footage of good quality. I imagine we'll be using it in the first show."

Clarkson said Hammond, who suffered brain damage and amnesia after the September crash, was happy for the footage to be broadcast.

"Richard has no idea what happened to him so he will be as keen as everyone else to see it."

Hammond, 37, a father of two, will join Clarkson and fellow host James May in the studio on 24 January to film footage for the show's BBC2 return the following Sunday.

Clarkson said that despite Hammond's crash, the next series would feature 35 stunts.

GOOD! im glad the show's not been pulled (yet). id like to see the crash, although only because we know that the Hamster made it out alive and pretty much in one piece. im glad there'll be the usual stunts and that nothing's changed (hopefully)

Yay :-) It was innevitable they were going to show it, Hammond didn't seem that bothered about them showing it when he was interviewed before.

Can't wait, seems sooooooooo long since i last saw an episode of top gear  :hyper:

i missed that too but apparently he cant daydream at the moment! he says if he were to stare at fire or swaying trees, instead of daydreaming, he just gets bored.
