just thought i would let you know that i showed my girlfriend your website for the zed and she is going weak at the knees looking at it!! she says, and i quote, "that is the best car i have ever seen in all my life". yes you can tell she is a 16 year old irish girl. they have never seen anything like it before!

everyone raves about how good the zed is.. i'm pushing out this.. i'm pushing out that.. yet no one competes.

 

ok i agree i might "rave on" about how good my zed is .... i'm pushing out 533 at the rear wheels - i cant help myself i spent a long time and a lot of money building her and i'm proud of what i have achieved. Do i want to compete in her - no, why would i.

533 at the wheels? :shock: christ that must be what? 620 at the fly? Why build a car like that and not see what it can do.. cant get my head around that why not just stick to 400 at the wheels, more than adequate for daily driving.

I'm not pissing on your parade.. i juts winds me up that people on here think the zed is the best car in the world and then moan that prices have gone through the floor and its only chavs buying them etc. Buy building a monster you should be out there competing against other makes at shows such as totb and opening peoples eyes to how capable these cars are, that way people will see them as alternatives to supras etc and prices should start to go up again as demand rises.

Lads i totally agree!! im 16 love little modded golfs, saxos n everything but also love the zed. i enjoy seeing modded cars racing but if i were to see a car like cj's racing i would actually have to slap the driver and ask wtf he was doi ng being a gob shite!

its just a silly hobby mate - i will do a little drifting and a little track day action - maybe even a 1/4 mile or two but thats about it - i just have a little fun - competition is a bit serious for me, i'm not good a driver, i would probbaly just break her and it would take me another 4 year to re-build.

LOL you know very well what my point is... everyone raves about how good the zed is.. i'm pushing out this.. i'm pushing out that.. yet no one competes. To put ones money where ones mouth is.. so to speak.

The chance to to go up against some serious cars, forget al lthe major tuners cars, your average joe aint going to wim, howeve it would be nice to see how some of these zeds stack up against other cars which are in he reach of youre average bloke, ie imprezas, evo's, supras gto's, mr2's etc etc. Theres always rucks of them there but never any zeds.

 

Firstly,i'd like to say this isnt a dig at you CJ,everyones goals are different.

 

Scoops,thats exactly what i intend to do,i've not looked into how you go about getting into TOTB yet,some advice if you know whats what would be great.

 

i intend to run the Zed in anger in any competition open to it,imo the zed is just as capable as any other jap car out there,which i will prove this year.

 

my first mission is to win scottish events such as USSC,Banzai at crail,if TOTB is open to enter without sub 10secs qualifing times i will enter that too,

 

my main goal is to bring up the profile and prices of Zeds,

 

come on guys lets get our atc together,stop moaning about other marques and start beating them where it counts...

i'm not sure,we think it could be running 2 sets of injectors,you can also cleary see 2 fuel filters aswell

it will be interesting fo find out what they are - the only injector mod i have heard about was an extra injector to combat the vg30's tendancy to run lean and hot on the rear cylinders - i dont think itwas a hp increase though - just a reduction in dett, mind you it might allow higher boost
