Hello,

I am in need of some knowledge on the size of, and type of pipework used in the hicas lines that run from the front (under passenger footwell) to the rear hicas saftey valve block. It looks to be of a steel type below the rust and leaking fluid on mine, but someone out there will hopefully know for sure.

I was hoping to just replace the pipes, the hicas arms and rack are all fine.

Ah the hicas debate. A lot of people say it makes the car feel floaty at high speed going round bends. To be honest i have never driven another car in the same league as the zed. Mine has lowered suspension, new Falken 451 tyres new suspension bush's and to the best of my knowledge its setup the best i can. I do think the car feels floaty going down twisty a roads but they does not really unerve me. If i thought getting rid of hicas did actually improve handling as well as feel i would do it. Having a big rear spoiler does help to pin the back to the road the faster i get.
