well it wouldnt be put on the road it would be a project to get it to my perfect zed but yes insurance is crazy!! mate of mine was quoted 4400 on a 1.3 fiesta at 17 but then quoted 2800 on a 1.9tdi golf or bora!! all depends really

Ireland's insurance is so much the majority of cars there just aren't insured at all

nah i aint going near any little metro!! the worst im doing is a punto and thats if all else fails miserably!! cant insure classic until 25 over here!! a mate of mine tried as he wanted a mk 1 escort but got turned down straight away!! what im thinking about doing is insuring myself on something small for 6months then getting a new policy as it should go down after 6months of driving correct???

personally i would stay away from that particular car, its been on and off ebay for as long as i have been a member here. also looks pretty clear to me from the pics that it has has had a front end hit at some point which hasnt been properly straightened. i know it was once owned by someone down south who owns an alloy wheel place, he changed the original 5 spokes to the multispokes it now has.

could just of been a bad bumper install but possibly crash damage not fixed proper;y. crash damage can be fixed easy enough as a friends father is a panel beater so that im not worried of plus finding parts would not be too hard being on here and all!!

its not the bumper mating with the wing thats the problem, its the misallignment of the headlamp panel and n/s headlight. also the slam panel is not straight.
