Burnout 2007

 

Looking at sorting out an event called BURNOUT 2007 in March near the NEC anyone interested ? should be a mini JAE :bow:

 

1) licenced Club and BBq :duffer:

 

2) enough room for 500 cars :D

 

3) burnout comp :rant:

 

4) Wet T'shirt comp (fairladyz) :x:

 

5) Best ICE install :smw:

 

etc etc.

 

The event wont take place unless we can secure 300 cars, and is on private land so no police telling you off LOL

 

Will put more info on swz forum when its more definate, but I need to know how many are interested ASAP

The event is now Booked for the 11th of March at Ceasors nightclub by the NEC birmingham. I have marked an area for 300's and a club stand.

 

Have also booked a little extra called burnout XXX to be held in the club after 8 pm for people who want a bit eXtra LOL.

 

MKivsupra.net have a big interest and a few other clubs and looks to be good

 

Would be good if we can arrange some convoys from different areas.

it will probably be the last weekend in Febuary.

 

SAT the 24th I believe in a plac called ceasor's club.

 

It has a massive parking area and is gonna carry on serving drinks all night for those that fancy camping !

Sounds a great idea, but shame it couldnt be organised a month or two later. Just thinking of the weather, could be snowing still in feb. So could put people off camping.

Not use to forums still working it out. New to 300zx world I have a red TT Jap import got for a bargain but needs some attention (also have red TT UK as donor car). Question does the state of car matter at these events wouldn't want to feel out of place?

I'm in Templecombe (nr Wincanton) in the middle of changing suspension bought car with what seems like shortened race coilover shocks with no give in ride totally solid and dropped to scrape the road. Done the front which involved some tricky balancing acts. Once rear change to std will be visiting garage for aligment and engine tune as missing a beat at the moment but very relaibly do 70 miles in her everyday

I might be there if I can get my insurance sorted out in time
