I have decided to post simply because this latest set of tyres I have fitted are superb.

The story so far

Bought the car and realised the rubber fitted to it had reached its last legs ( bare metal showing through ), worried about wether the camber was right due to undue wear on the inners of the tyres I decided to try budgets to see if I had a problem.

I went for the nankang ns2 rear and khumo front, this was ok but no great shakes, when these were gone I tried the Avon ZZ3 all round set up and found them only as good as the nankangs and khumos so not worth the extra pennies. On the advice of a friend I then tried the Pilot sports and found these to be very good tyres indeed but couldnt really justify the extra cash per tyre change and asking the missus to go stand on corners and look inviting just wasnt cutting it in the tyre situation, finally to the last set , these tyres have been fitted with new 18" alloys but the performance in the wet has so far been better than the pilot sports and all for a budget price as well.......the tyres I speak of are Falken 452's and would recomend them to anyone, cant fault em...Take a bow falken

I've got 451s too. Easily as good, performance-wise, as Eagle F1s and much longer lasting too.

sorry cant agree about the khumo ecstas as the ones i had on the front were nowhere as grippy as the falkens
