I know this isnt necessarily the right forum for you guys know more about motors than most and as an ex zed owner trust your opinons (and yes i know they are a bit chav but i cannot afford the evo i like!)

A friend of mine had a terzo, bottom end went @ 85k miles!

Cost him close on £3.5k to sort it out (apparantly!).

They are very quick & sound lovely, but they really are the

modern day xr3i, everyone has one!

Why not go for a pulsar, or a celica gt4? Both better looking

and rarer than a scoob.

from what i have been told the pistons are commonly known as chocolate pistons as they melt quite easily aparently but i dont know for myself as i havnt had one

Matey at work has one.

he says no. 3 cylinder and gearboxes are what they all blow. But this is people modding them, not just standard ones.

Mind you, he blew no.3 on the track, standard.

scoobynet thanks for the advice, seems like they have snaggs but what car doesnt? I know they are like xr3i's but i dont really fancy the look of the gt4 that much, did think about getting one. Not a fan of the pulsar so much but after a 4x4 type rally esq car i think

if i were you id go for an early evo rather than an scooby buddy ;)
