graham, came over this morning to fix it up for us. Tell ya what those old pipes were a right c**t to get off! The hose he bought is green though frown.gif. Oh well. There was a split in the small line that goes from the bottom of the valve thingy back left (from front). Replaced all lines. It was much easier to start after that and no more smell. The line under the throttle linkage is a right little bastard to get at. Will have to do that one when it has the timing belt done.

I bent the timing belt cover down slightly with a heavy chisel to allow access to the bolt on the mount for the throttle pulley bar thingy (whatever it's called!)

It's still a right old job to do though but mine was leaking very badly from there so couldn't wait until the belt was done.

Couldn't be arsed stripping it all down and removing the covers just to get to one bolt and it's not really noticeable where it's bent.
