I’ve seen quite a few for sale and wanted to wait for a nice one to come along and one has...

 

DaFox was selling his Zed and even though he is in Bangor north Wales and im in Milton Keynes, something felt right about it. Left my house at 9.30pm on Thursday night and drove up as far as I could without nodding off and stopped over in a hotel. The next morning made my way over to him and all I can say is... one of the nicest most genuine bloke’s ive ever met. He took the day off work and we got there at 11ish and didn’t leave until 5ish!! Great test drive, ran me through everything and I mean EVERYTHING on her, took me for an excellent test drive where I got to drive her for the first time :bow: Then had even more tea with him, ran through even more stuff, explained how the turbos worked and so much more. Wasted a whole day entertaining me and the missis, He bought brand new shocks which weren’t even open, just under half a huge bottle of oil which he put in the boot at NO extra cost... Just gave me them for free and made up a folder with enough reading stuff to carry me onto the new year!!

 

He even made me a Cd with software, presentations, videos, diagrams, instructions and photos on everything on her. Treated us amazingly.

 

Dave you’re a legend and I really appreciate your entire help mate.

nice 1 spongey, nice car you have there mate, good to see you got a white one too, us white zeds are like marmite, you either love em or you hate em, i think they are one of the few cars that look good in white. Good luck with your purchase, see you at the meets next year and what you do to put your own mark on the car, whats gonna be your first mod? :)

Looks very nice. You have got to try and keep it that way. Don't do what I did and hit a kerb in the first 24 hrs.

nice one mate, i drove 450 mile round trip for mine 2 1/2 years ago, never regreted it, and miss it massivly :(

Looks and sounds like you,ve got yourself a very very nice car :bow: just go out and enjoy it now but be careful in these slippery conditions !!

Dont apoligise mate, It was great to have someone take the time with a complete noobie and trust me when i left i knew a lot more then i did before i got there :)

 

Thanks for everyones replys, and you are all right im VERY happy, I saw someone say on here that "It only takes a curious buyer to sit in the drivers seat to make his mind up" well i think he undersold it a bit to be fair, I only saw her arse and knew she was coming home (Just read that back and doesnt mean to sound like it does)

 

As for the meets, ill be at any i can make it too. Ive allready seen that there is a bloke not far from me so will make the effort to meet some new people and rack their brains. As for mods, I dont think there is a lot i could do at the moment to make her any better, theres a couple of minor little repairs.
