Hi All, Wondered if anyone could help with this one.. I bought my Zed a few weeks ago and have not had a chance to drive it before it was delivered from Cornwall. It drive of the ramps and drove to the garage where it was booked in for a MOT (its around 2 miles) no probs. We then get a call from the garage stating the car does not move, so we go down there and true enough it didnt. We left this till the next morning, the car started fine and drove around 300yards before it lost drive, nothing.....The next morning exactly the same.

I would appreciated any help with this one as i am new to Zed's :(

I take it its an auto? Have you checked the gearbox fluid level on the dipstick?

Yep its a auto, the garage topped up the fluid and it took around 1Ltr

Drop the sump of the auto box and clean the strainer - this would tend to suggest the box is dying though unfortunately. You may get a few more miles from it yet though...

sounds perfectly sensible to me as the car had sat for around 8 months. Its worth the money though, lts of service history Veilside cat back exhaust (this rocks), chipped and various other minor mods.

Does anyone know how to drop the sump from the gearbox any diagrams would be cool
