as i write this i have been waiting on the phone in a queue to Orange for over half an hour.

i took advantage (or rather, am trying to take advantage) of their free broadband offer. sorted this out with a rep in an orange shop over 5 weeks ago.

im supposed to be paying just £5 (on top of my mobile bill) for unlimited 8 meg b/b, but im still being charged £17.99 (on top of my mobile bill) for limited 2gb b/b.

spoke to one customer rep who put me onto this number (550) and said it would get sorted straight away, and i'd get refunded anything i've been charged incorrectly.

it's now nearly 40 minutes and i'm listening to Christmas tunes, and THAT woman saying "we are currently receiving a high number of calls so you might experience a delay". no sht sherlock!

last time this happened i hung up after 20 minutes, but this time im going to wait and wait and wait. i'll keep posting on this thread every 10 minutes lol

Orange customer support is shit. They disconnected my broadband on the 28th Nov for no apparent reason and I'm still not reconnected. And to listen to that stupid woman on the phone saying "we may be able to help you on our orange web site at www.orange.co.uk"

Err hello, I HAVE NO FOOKING INTERNET CONNECTION

LMFAO

Just cancel your direct debit thats what I did and 3 months later no problems

:duffer:

I know how you feel, but 40 minutes is taking the p1ss.

I'd cancel everything with them and send their phone back and tell them to stick the lot up their arse.

70 minutes. just got disconnected , rang back, got disconnected straight away. am now back in the queue. :mac1: :mac1: this is beyond rediculous and im starting to get pissed off

Here's a link to a search page which should find loads of other Orange numbers - maybe one of these will help saynoto0870

(ps if you hate phoning national numbers for customer care and paying full rate, this site can help)

fouukin nora finally got through. they said there was a 'problem with the computer' which is supposedly why ive not been upgraded. he refunded me two months and gave me two months free while they sort it out. when i mentioned the delay he said there was another 90 in the queue

still not fixed tho - i need to ring back in February if ive still not been upgraded. lol, good old Orange.
