I'm looking at getting a Greddy profec-B spec11 boost controller for crimbo, I've already got an Apex'i filter and a de-cat stainless exhaust and is running 306bhp (rolling roaded it a couple of months ago). Can a boost controller be run on this set up effectively or would I need to get it chipped at the same time?

Any help appreciated. :)

Typically, you can run around 12psi on the stock ECU and high octane fuel without any issues.

To go any higher (14-15psi max on stock injectors) and to get the best out of the car then its well worth getting an Uprated ECU.....not to mention a Chipped ECU on an exchange basis is only around £100

That's at the fly mate, I think its about 257 at the wheels. If that was at the wheels I'd be doing this

I'm thinking with an EBC and a chip around 350 at the fly, am I dreaming or is this reasonable?

No mate, you are not dreaming.

You should be able to get 330-350 with a EBC and chip.

I've basically got that setup except I have an overfueling problem.

I made 342 torque and 355 bhp.

If you want a good (and good value) chip, speak to John Dixon. And don't forget to ask him nicely!
