Hi,

I use my import NA every day for work, a round trip of 55 miles.

I have had running problems...hesitation..idle speed ...smell of fuel etc., which I have managed to overcome by cleaning sensors etc.

Most of the problems seem to arise after having read about them on this forum!

Both my Z's are running just fine ! ;-P

Although the alternator of my NA blew up a few weeks ago and I had a small fuel leak with the TT, both problems are fixed now..

Zya,

Eric

My jap import 1990 tt is used every day 100 miles a day. Having a replacement engine and recon auto has made all the gremlins go away.

craig this is not the sort of answer i was looking for "we must go to lunch" huh

.....t tt

My 91TT has been off road since before Crimbo, is currently sharing with two other 300's(TT's also) at a secret location in P'borough. Went over to take him some grapes and speak with Dr. Nissan about his long term prospects! Heater Matrix blew on M25 in December, still chugging at tickover...left him in the capable hands of someone I have come to respect for his knowledge and experience. Hopefully will be sorted soon...watch this space!

well my Z's fine, seen 10 in my area. I think there breeding.

Mine runs great, no problems...

I hose so anyway!

Mines my only transport (apart from 3 motorbikes!) Between friday night and last night I have filled the bugger up 3 times so it does get used!

Simon

Mine requires a slight camber adjustment!!

Its been of the road since january, so I'am currently using my travelcard :(

Trev.

mines still off the road waiting for the ptu and im losing money big time but never fear super johnny and gazmo r on the case and the beast will soon be back causing terror and mayhem on the streets of britain

Mine runs like a dream (UK '92 tt)

Apart from the lights and mats ....

Craig,

Yes, that him be, Mr. Ford himself...why?

Tim

P.S. Too everyone else-Going to look at buying an Astra GTE 16valver tonight as I've been hiring a nastey 406 since b4 Crimbo. Cost is killing me while my 300 is sick!

Need some speed top up urgently!

Timmy,

no real reason, just that, i have used him, and he is a top bloke, who knows his stuff, imho

but, where he works are too damn expensive, especially for the part of the country they are in...

or has he moved on... ?

Craig,

Nice to hear that about Bob, I have faith in him fixing what Middlehurst obviously couldn't...Nuff Said!

He's at P'borough Nissan(Arriva), what I liked best when I turned up yesterday was that he asked me to test drive me motor b4 handing any green over. They even gave me a lift back to de train station...now that's more like it! And even offered to pick me up from de train station when I return...respect!

Tim

Some people obviously don't know the subtle difference between a G reg Astra GTE 2.0i and a G reg 2.0 16v...do they? Like the 16v under the GTE badge on the boot. And the tell-tale sign under the bonnet-Vauxhall DOHC 16v on the rocker cover...duh! Needless to say I haven't bought it!

still going strong but not sure how long i'll have a licence ;-)

My 1990 TT Auto carries me to work every day (10 miles) but it has its problems. Ultra hesitation and dicky tranny are among them.
