Went to Faringdon for crane training - yup.... them big grab/hook thingys on the back of lorries!!

 

Got to play around - pick up bricks and cause havoc!

 

Got some smashing photos of me with my hard hat on..... Hi Vis jacket and work boots!! (just like Bob the builder!!!!!) :rolleyes: (now to get em developed) lol !!

 

And what an awesome company car I was given!! - push button start! :tongue: :tongue:

Hi-Ab are a manufacture of lorry mounted hydraulic lifting equipment. 1.5, 3ton or more, i was referring to the lifting capacity of the crane ;) NOT the lorry.

it was an Atlas 105.5... lifting capacity was 2tonne...

 

i wish i had my LGV / HGV licence - 2008 is year for driving tests and defensive driving courses!! Unfortunatly work is sending me on train the trainer courses in 2007... :rolleyes:

Arr the Atlas, just couldn't remember the other manufature ;) I was trained on the Hi-Ab upto 3.5 tonne, so could never opperate the Atlas. But they are fun to use :D Always fancied one of those sit on ones, the ones where the opperator is sat high up over the lorry cab, bet you could do some damage with one of those :rofl:

Hey its fun innit, I was an overhead crane instructor a few years ago but my licence has expired now up to 15 tonne so I could teach folk how to move these things around.
